Auditions: Miracle on 34th St.

Auditions copy

ACTion Community Theatre is super-delighted to announce that we have secured the amateur rights to stage ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ as our December 2018 Christmas production!

Based upon the classic 1947 Twentieth Century Fox screenplay by Valentine Davis and adapted for the stage by Mountain Community Theater, the show promises to be a delightful, heart-warming Christmas production; the production will feature a live 3-piece band playing seasonal music from the 30s / 40s. [NOTE: this is a play with music NOT a musical!]

Sunday 2nd September 3 – 5pm: Auditions: music

Tuesday 4th September 7 – 9pm: Auditions: acting

To be considered for a role, you MUST be available to rehearse on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons from early September onwards and to be fully available for production week w/c Monday 10th December.

Our ethos is to stage high quality community theatre and to encourage our members to engage with all aspects of staging a production, therefore we ask that everyone gives a little of their time to helping with all the essential, behind-the-scenes roles such as publicity, building/decorating set, sourcing/making costumes & props etc.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are simply interested in an acting role, then we are probably not the group for you!

Age Guide: Adults and young people 11 years+

COSTS: ACTion membership subscription [£25 / Conc. £15 / U16 £10], plus Production subscription [£25.00]
